“On the days I attend
minyan, I start my day by thanking G-d for my many blessings, while surrounded
by my minyan community who warm and strengthen me. Also, those who need to
recite Kaddish for a loved one can do so when at least ten of us are present,
and it makes me happy when I am one of them. In addition, I am able to offer
prayers of healing for family and friends while holding onto the Torah. While
many prayers can be recited within the confines of my home, I find being within
sacred space has greater meaning for me.”

When I attend minyan, I find the people involved in prayer create an atmosphere of friendliness and caring which help me with my prayers.
